ADI Treatments Ltd have recently received a 50:50 match funded BEAS grant from the West Midlands Combined Authority.
The grant scheme is open to SMEs to assist in the installation of systems designed to reduce energy consumption and therefore provide improvements to their carbon footprint. As we strive towards towards net zero, funding like this helps companies to bring projects which provide cost and environmental savings to fruition, and allows more ambitious projects (with greater impact and rewards) to be realised.
The first part of the grant was for a new Floor Mounted Variable Speed Compressor (NOBEL 45E 10 PM-DF (LGN) 55 – 260 CFM). This 10 Bar compressor was selected and installed with support and consultation from Compressed Air Systems UK Ltd to replace 2 aging single speed compressors. The operations and engineering teams at ADI Treatments Ltd have already noted improved efficiency when compared to the replaced compressor system, which in turn will lead to a reduced carbon footprint.
