In November 2025, Dr Arron Rimmer was invited to present the 8th Trater Day, hosted at the AZTERLAN Metallurgy Research Centre in Durango Spain, organised by Tabira Foundry Institute.

The technical session analysed current trends, challenges and advances in heat-treatment technologies.  The presentation by Dr Arron Rimmer was entitled “From a nine-part assembly to a single part: an example of the advantageous combination of casting technology and heat treatments”.
